That is one of the few games that's almost identical on both systems. They don't even have major lighting or color differences.
You named one released game... SUPER!
I like how these same "lazy developers" seem to have no problem making great games on the 360.
"Blu-ray in the first year of the dual layer technology already by far exceeded the volume at the start of the DVD eleven years ago"
Volume does not increase saturation in an enormous growing market. Growing exponentially and globally no less.
Arrogance with their hardware? how were they arrogant? Maybe in the performance of it, which they have every reason to be arrogant about, because it performs extremely well so long as it's not breaking.
If you're talking about them being arrogant about the reliability, I've never heard them make an arrogant statement about their reliability. They were actually pretty humble about it after they released the 2 year extension.
I would like to be the first to welcome you to the internet.
It's not that there's games from every genre. Just because a game is in a genre doesn't mean it will fill the need for a game in that genre. I like some racers, but I'd never even want to put myself through GT5. Likewise, I like shooters, but that doesn't mean I like all shooters.
I haven't played star ocean in ages.
Super excited
look into them
"really hope that you are the one joking, because it really sounds like it and if not you are very misinformed. EVERY console has had some kind of failure rate, but never anything as bad as the 360."
No. The launch PS2's was just as bad, you just didn't have everyone with a broken PS2 crying about it on the internet, or 1000 news sites talking about it every day.
Don't feed the troll
I can think of 2 off the top of my head...
1. MGS4
2. FFXIII
3. Infamous
4. GoW3
5. White Knight Story
Those would be my picks. I'd never even look at either resistance twice, and 360 has enough good racers for me not to care about GT. It might be the shiniest, but when it comes down to it Forza's got more than enough for a race simulator, and GRID just came out. Killzone 2 just isn't for me.
Can no internet gaming sites afford editors?
The content of the article is fine, but would it kill someone to write well?
did you not read the list?
wouldn't the secret title being a title already announced defeat the purpose of it being a SECRET TITLE?
By number or by saturation? What that comment doesn't consider is that the market is more than twice as big as when DVD first launched.
DVDs had a clear advantage over VHS. Higher quality, more reliability, Ease of use. No more rewinding. Easy to skip to certain places in a movie. Similar price. Far cheaper players.
Blu-Ray only has two things over DVD. Media Quality and interactivity. These are both things that only really matter to collectors. It doesn't have a clear advantage to the average consumer at it's current price point. Once it drops to a similar price, people will probably go for the extra features. T...
If they didn't raise prices after winning on both the format and the players, people might do that.
It renders 2 different SD+ images of the same scene to create better color and lighting. That doesn't mean the hardware is less powerful. It renders 2 standard definition images for each image that would normally be rendered.
That's not less power. It's a different application of the power.
